Bathing your dog on a regular basis helps keep the skin and coat clean and healthy as well as keeping the dog looking and smelling his best. Some breeds shed more than others, requiring more frequent brushing. Dogs that develop undercoats during cold weather will shed more as the weather turns warmer. Proper removal of this undercoat will help prevent matting, hot spots, and general discomfort for the dog. There will also be less hair littering the house.

Some breeds have hair that requires clipping on a regular basis. Clipping usually falls into two main categories, style and utility. Utility clips are generally done for owners who desire ease of maintenance, regardless of the style that is the standard for their breed of dog. This type of clip should be done every four to eight weeks, depending on the hair growth rate of the individual dog. When clipping is done for style purposes, hair is generally left longer and should be done every four weeks to keep the dog looking his best. We offer a bath, nail trimming, face trim, or the works, a full groom and a collection service is available.
